Seminars at LIMU aren\’t limited to presentations only. Group tests are carried out, where the students are grouped together and presented with a set of questions from their various subjects. The questions are to be answered within 10 minutes before being returned to their coordinator who hands them to their professors. The correct answers are shared and discussed at the same time, so that each student can fully benefit from the knowledge discussed and it makes it easier to remember each piece of information. At the end of the seminar, the coordinator hears from the students their opinions and comments on how the session went, and any suggestions forwarded to the superiors and the student is updated on the situation.

The first 3 years of medicine and the first 2 years of dentistry are taught by the faculty of basic medicine.
