This morning, the Basic Medical Sciences Faculty (BMS) organized a workshop targeting students of the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Benghazi, in implementation of the university\’s vision and strategy in expanding the framework of knowledge of the university\’s modern learning strategies and enhancing its role in community service.

Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Dr. Abdullah Al Mansouri, opened the workshop, explaining the importance of change in teaching methods and learning strategies, and the experience of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) in this regard, and then Dr. Akila Al Badri (former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine) thanked the Faculty for hosting and its efforts in adopting and succeeding self learning methods and spreading this strategy in Libyan universities.

Then the space was given to Dr. Noha Al-naas, vice dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) to start the first session of the three day workshop, which will be interspersed with the attendance of students of Benghazi University for the actual panel discussions applied at the faculty.
