The Council of faculty of BMS held a special meeting yesterday morning headed by Mr. Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Mansoori, in the presence of the Vice President and faculty members.

The meeting focused on discussing the progress of students ’scientific reports sessions and the mechanism for evaluating their oral exams.
It is noteworthy that scientific reports are prepared by students under the supervision of educational supervisors and faculty members in three sessions, so that in the first session the title of the scientific report is chosen and in the second the report is reviewed with the educational supervisors, while in the third and last session the scientific report is presented to the faculty members for discussion And adding the required modifications, then the students will submit their scientific reports on the university\’s electronic scientific curriculum system (Moodle) for future use and convert it into a scientific paper or complete it as a scientific research.

The adoption of this scientific method in the College of Basic Medical Sciences (two years ago) comes within the permanent endeavor of the university to adopt guided self-learning and lifelong learning strategies, produce knowledge and serve the community, prepare and qualify highly qualified professionals, and have the ability to meet the needs of society and implement scientific research.

It is worth noting that the Libyan International University is considered the leading institution in private higher medical education in Libya, and it has contributed to preparing graduates who are distinguished with the appropriate knowledge, skills, competencies and good professional behaviors that enable them to practice the profession and to conduct scientific research in various fields of their specialization.
