LIMU training Center will hold a course from 25/3/2019 called 'The ER mind'
The center of continuous education and training at LIMU announces the beginning of a course called \’The ER mind\’
Target audience: Interns & recently graduated doctors.
Overview: The course will be held under the supervision of Dr Mohammed Elagori, who is a specialist in Intensive care medicine, British Fellowship in Internal medicine and British Fellowship in Acute diseases.
Start date: 25/3/2019
Course duration: 6 weeks
Days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Time: 16:00 to 19:00
The course is made up of lectures and practical hands on training in the LIMU clinical skills lab.
At the end of the course, a practical and theoretical exam will be held.
Each participant at the end of the course will receive a certificate of participation, certified by the Libyan International Medical University.

– How to recognize the serious patient
– How to deal with the serious patient
– Decision making skills
– Commonly used investigations in the ER
– Drugs used in the ER and timing of their use.
– vasopressors (basics)
– CPR
– basic setting of Mechanical Ventilator
– Theoretical exam
– Clinical exam (case simulation)
