Last Thursday, two groups of first year students presented a seminar on Anemia.

This is part of the learning requirements for the first week of the H&I block. BMS students are required to present weekly seminars in groups of approximately 5 students of varying relevant topics. These seminars are attended by their co-ordinator and a number of professors and academic staff members. Once the presentation has finished, the students and attendees all discuss the important aspects of what has been presented.The first three years of study for the Medicine students, and the first two years of study of the dentistry students are all taught by the faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
