The Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences (BMS) yesterday morning received its new students with a special introductory program that will continue until the end of this week.

The program of the day began with a welcoming speech delivered by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad, who talked about the establishment of the university and its achievements and future plans to raise the level of education, partnership and cooperation with Arab and international universities.

The Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Dr. Abdullah Al Mansouri, spoke about the College and its curricula and the methods of outstanding educational achievement that does not depend on indoctrination.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery, Professor Al-Senoussi Al-Tahir, spoke about the importance of adhering to the standards adopted by the university over the years and its evolution and expected better outputs for the university during the following years.

During the preliminary program, the first students were honored for the first year of the college for the academic year 2017-2018.

At the conclusion of the first day program, the students were divided into groups that conducted tours led by distinguished students on the first year of the faculty to learn about the facilities and laboratories of the university.
The introductory program, which started today until the end of the week, will continue, including various events that will introduce students to the university system and the teaching methods followed.
