On the morning of Wednesday, 2018/11/28 , Dr. Ibrahim El-Gendy, \”Head of Pharmacists of Libya\” visited the headquarters of the Libyan International Medical University in the city of Benghazi. He was accompanied by representatives of the Arab Pharmacists Union.

Everyone was greeted by Dr. Mohamed Saad,President of the University, Dr. Al-Senoussi Al-Tahir, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Salmah Bouktaouh, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, The visit included a tour of the university facilities.

During the visit, the two sides also discussed means of cooperation between the academic institutions and the professional associations in order to improve the level of health services provided to the citizens, They also discussed the Libyan International Forum for Sustainable Health Development, which will be hosted in Benghazi in February 11-13, 2019, With the participation of the unions of doctors, dentists, pharmacists and auxiliary medical professions in addition to the various Libyan universities and the Union of Arab Pharmacists.
