IT Faculty Celebrates World  Arduino Day

IT Faculty has celebrated the International Day of Arduino with an intensive program of work that included research presentations, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and panel discussions.

Arduino is an electronic development board consisting of an open source electronic circuit with a micro controller on a single board programmed by the computer. It is designed to make the process of using interactive electrons in multidisciplinary projects easier,, And is mainly used in the design of interactive electronic projects or projects that aim to build different environmental sensors such as wind, pressure, etc.

It is noted that the World Day of Arduino is a global annual event held in the 13 th week of the year by educational institutions, organizations, amateurs or a group interested in this technique, so that they can be identified and used in the seminars, and workshops.

The idea of the Arduino in 2005 appeared in the Italian city of Ivria, where Massimo Banzi, together with David Quartillis and Jainluca Martino, launched the Arduino of Ivrea project, named after the most famous historical figure in the city.

The objective of the project was to create a 100% micro controller development environment for micro controllers. This project included the development of a free software development environment for integrated microprocessors. It also included the development of small development boards for a simple cost of about $ 27. so that Students and amateurs can bear the price, and by 2013 more than 700 thousand Arduino had been shipped.
