The office of education and examinations of the IT Faculty completed conducting the final tests of the 2017-2018  Spring Semester for the Department of Health Informatics, Computer Networks and Software Engineering.

It is noteworthy that the International Libyan University of Medical Sciences (LIMU) launched the Faculty of Information Technology (2010/2011) to keep pace with scientific and technological progress, respond to development requirements, achieve a quantum leap in the development of the health sector and meet the need of the community of the necessary disciplines in the field of information technology and informatics and health care , Encouraging scientific research in the field of informatics, managing health care to benefit society, and working to provide the infrastructure and specialization necessary for the software industry and technical support in medical and health institutions of all kinds .

The faculty of Information Technology grants a bachelor\’s degree in this specialization ,The  curriculum is organized in semesters, Each academic year includes two semesters: the first is the fall semester and the second is the spring semester. Each semester consists of sixteen weeks, including two weeks of examinations At the end of the semester, according to the program of the study prepared by the college, which follows the dates of lectures and scientific sessions, with the addition of a third semester \”summer semester\” if the faculty considers its necessary, provided that the duration of study to meet the requirements of graduation minimum eight semesters (4 years) And a maximum of 10 semesters (5 years), with the exception of semesters In which the student is allowed to discontinue enrollment.
