The Clinical Skills Center of the Libyan International Medical University continues its emergency medicine training course \’\’ The Er Mind \’\’  by Dr. Mohammed Elagouri, a specialist in critical internal medicine and a British fellowship in the Acute diseases, organized and supervised by the ISKill  Training Center and in collaboration with the University\’s Clinical Skills Center, It targets intern doctors, new doctors and General Doctors.

The 45 day course (four days a week) includes theoretical lectures and practical applications, and theoretical and practical evaluation tests at the end of the course, which qualify the participant for a certificate of attendance accredited by the Libyan International Medical University.

The course focuses on the following topics:

✔️Common presentations and medical emergencies in the ER.
✔️How to recognize the serious patient.
✔️How to deal with the serious patient.
✔️Decision making skills.
✔️Commonly used investigations in the ER.
✔️Drugs used in the ER and timing of their use.
✔️vasopressors (basics).
✔️CPR.
✔️basic setting of Mechanical Ventilator.
✔️Theoretical exam.
✔️Clinical exam (case simulation).
